Ryan Reynolds Just Trolled Hugh Jackman on a Heartfelt Instagram Post Meant for His Wife

Everyone loves a healthy, good old banter between Deadpool and Wolverine. Of course, fans would very well know that we are talking about Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, two talented actors who couldn’t help but poke fun at each whenever the opportunity calls for it.

In fact, they have been teasing each other on social media for so long, much to the delight of their supporters. The pseudo-feud between the two superhero stars is enough to make anyone’s day, so when the Logan actor posted a heartfelt message for his wife on Instagram, this was clearly a chance to roast him.

The couple is celebrating their 24th anniversary

Hugh and his wife, Debora-Lee Furness, are celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary and the sweetest man that he is, he penned an endearing caption, saying the more than two decades of being together have been the best of his life and that things will only get better from there.

It was a very memorable post that even fans couldn’t help but share their well-wishes for the pair. However, Ryan wouldn’t let this pass, so he left his own funny comment, instructing Debora-Lee to hang in there.

History of Their Friendly Fights

The hilarious remark was just the latest of their faux-beef that started many years ago. This may have begun in 2009 when Ryan’s character, Deadpool, appeared in the Hugh-starrer X: Men Origins: Wolverine.

Despite their faux-fights, the two are actually good friends

Since they have been throwing jabs against each other, shippers became enamored with their bromance. They have been at it for so long that people started expecting roasts from each other constantly.

Evil?

The 43-year-old Canadian actor was also brave enough to troll the Australian actor in his hometown. When he promoted the film Underground 6 last year in the Land Down Under, Ryan quipped that contrary to what people assume, Hugh is an evil guy.

He went on to poke fun at Hugh being an ambassador of the country when in fact he resides in Winnipeg, Canada. As such, the comedian dismissed his good friend as a fraud.

In retaliation, the multi-award-winning celebrity shared an amusing post on Instagram of Deadpool cheekily holding his character Wolverine’s claw. Hugh went on to ask, who you callin a fraud?

Still Friends

Hugh Jackman said goodbye to his Wolverine character

No matter how mean their friendship may look, both of them still want the best for each other. Hugh famously bid adieu to his role in 2017 after playing the character in Logan. Ryan has since been convincing him to reprise his character as the iconic Wolverine.
